Terms and Conditions
Description: The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Swindon Airport Express Cabs. Your booking of a taxi and utilization of our service implies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
Swindon Airport Express Cabs, referred to as “we” or “us,” denotes the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, particularly for airport transfers where adherence to specific flight check-in times is essential. Swindon Airport Express Cabs disclaims responsibility for delays resulting from your failure to allocate ample time or if you are not prepared for collection at the scheduled time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage. Swindon Airport Express Cabs does not guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. Please note that a child, irrespective of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be communicated at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotation, based on information provided by you, excludes VAT unless otherwise specified. Any applicable VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote in the event of substantial changes to the specified itinerary.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the stated landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting period beyond this will be charged at the standard Swindon Airport Express Cabs waiting rate. While efforts will be made to accommodate flight delays, such adjustments are discretionary.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Swindon Airport Express Cabs of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for ensuing delays or costs.
3.4 Payments for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is the responsibility of the person making the booking. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact on the vehicle by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the car.
4.3 Children in the car must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance limitations regarding the number of passengers allowed.
Cancellations
5.1 Timely notification of cancellations is essential. Charges will apply if a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, based on the driver’s time and distance to the cancellation point.
5.2 Online bookings canceled before dispatch may incur charges.
Liability
6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. Swindon Airport Express Cabs bears no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business under any circumstances.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In case of vehicle breakdown, we will make efforts to provide an alternative car promptly.
6.4 You shall not indemnify Swindon Airport Express Cabs for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or any matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Swindon Airport Express Cabs may subcontract obligations under this agreement. You shall not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Amendments to terms and conditions may be made by Swindon Airport Express Cabs at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed of any applicable changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Swindon Airport Express Cabs and yourself.
8.5 No provision in these terms and conditions is intended to confer benefits to a third party. Third parties cannot enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Swindon Airport Express Cabs is not obligated to address claims or disputes submitted after this timeframe.
